The Eckerd Family Foundation and other organizers
of the 2006 Florida Children’s Summit have developed
a policy
agenda to better support Florida’s children.
The agenda includes creation of a Florida Children’s
Cabinet, a re-evaluation of zero tolerance policies,
and better support and services for youth transitioning
in state care who are transitioning to adulthood.
